Danfoss IXA A/S is a privately held company within the Danfoss Group, focused on developing advanced emission monitoring solutions for the global marine industry.
Founded in 2009, Danfoss IXA was established with a clear ambition: to develop accurate and reliable sensor technology for measuring exhaust gas emissions and enabling engine performance optimization – at a time when the global shipping industry was facing increasingly environmental regulations.
A decade of trusted innovation
In 2016, we launched our first CEMS product, the MES 1001, designed to monitor NOx, SO2, and NH3 emissions. Since then, our technology has been deployed on approximately 3,000 vessels worldwide across leading shipping fleets, supporting both compliance and operational efficiency.
Building on this technology, the innovative SO2/CO2 scrubber CEMS solution, MES 1002, was introduced to monitor scrubber system performance and support effective documentation of sulphur emissions, ensuring compliance while optimizing operational reliability.
