MES 1002 support
The MES 1002 CEMS is used in applications where compliance depends on uninterrupted and well-documented emissions monitoring. For exhaust gas scrubber systems, continuous measurement is mandatory, which means the analyzer must remain operational at all times – and any issues must be addressed without delay.
Dedicated service concept
To support this requirement, Danfoss IXA offers a dedicated service concept for the MES 1002. Unlike standard CEMS support, this approach prioritizes fast response, clear compliance documentation, and efficient replacement or recovery actions to help vessel owners maintain regulatory continuity and avoid unnecessary downtime.
Confirmation of manufacturer contact
In case of an issue, the vessel can contact Danfoss IXA directly. Upon request, we can issue a letter of confirmation stating that the vessel has contacted the CEMS manufacturer and that troubleshooting or a part exchange is in progress.
This documentation can be used to support compliance reporting while corrective actions are being taken, for example until the next possible port call.

Troubleshooting support
Our service team provides structured troubleshooting support for MES 1002 analyzers to quickly identify faults and define the most appropriate corrective action – whether remote guidance, replacement, or exchange:
Extended certificate option
The MES 1002 analyzer is supplied with a certificate valid for two years from the production date or factory recalibration. If the analyzer is installed and commissioned within six months of production or recalibration, Danfoss IXA can issue an extended certificate.
This certificate is valid from the first day of operation and extends two years forward, supporting uninterrupted compliance documentation.
Re-calibration and exchange service
To support vessels with analyzers that have reached certificate expiry, Danfoss IXA offers a MES 1002 Re-calibration exchange service.
